#Beethoven 9.0
An Update to Humanity

August & September 2027

Beethoven's 9. symphony, but without a conductor? Just imagine that! Young musicians from Europe, South Africa and Colombia tackle this monumental work together, guided by trust, responsibility and the desire to use music to send a strong signal for a new spirit of humanity. That is exactly what Beethoven 9.0 will be.
Beethoven 9.0 is a project that combines artistic excellence and social responsibility, breaking down barriers – as a laboratory for democracy, diversity and community. It creates spaces in which young talents can surpass themselves musically and personally. In the Pforte Chamber Orchestra Plus, the participants experience the exact opposite of established orchestral practice. While elsewhere they have to endure and be quiet, here contribution and participation are encouraged. Only in this way can music become the personal language of humanity.
